Torre Pali, Salve’s sea-side, is settled along the Ionic slope and it is approximately 16 km away from “Santa Maria di Leuca”. In the past it was an exclusive place for a large group of fishermen coming from the neighbouring villages and with the passing of time it is became a very appreciated tourist place. Besides, in the distance you can see a small church, which is situated on the provincial road, that from “Gallipoli” heads for “Santa Maria di Leuca” and descending towards the sea you can find an ancient Coast Tower, which dates back to 1500, and which was an outpost against every enemy raid.
